Please take time to view this video filmed by the Douglas Cable Station. We are very thankful to them for this production that shows what we do here at the farm. This was filmed the day of our first public concert with the Exit 17 Band. Enjoy!
Blueberry Picking Now:
Our bushes are very full. We plan to have blueberry picking this week Thursday through Sunday. Please check this web site or Facebook for picking conditions as all the ripe ones may be picked depending on the amount of people and we may have to pause picking. This is our best year yet so come and get them berries!
Farmer Nick's fraternity brothers from Alpha Tau Gamma, led a big spring clean up and orchard pruning at the farm. All 25 of these brothers currently attend or have graduated from U Mass Amherst School of Stockbridge. We send a heartfelt thank you to each of these wonderful men for donating their time and energy. They came prepared to work with their chain saws and pruning tools. They even felled a big old tree perfectly
We were happy to save the farm from being developed. Farmer Nick, a graduate of Mass Amherst Stockbridge School of Agriculture is following sustainable and permaculture practices. Come see what we are about as we restore this old orchard.
All vegetables, herbs and flowers are grown using no pesticides. The chickens and ducks are fed organic feed so our eggs will be organic. We have four bee hives that supply us with raw honey.
